in Uganda, it had the chance to be the first “all Christian Nation.”

America with the right people and the right students. Everyone wants more of God but how do they

If they are not willing to come to us maybe we should go to them.

middle of a town that was 90% Moslem. It was a very rewarding trip, and for
certain the Holy Spirit was in control of every move that we made as a team.

revelation was, we need to train the younger generation from 14-28 to begin to
take over the “Next Generation”.
2008 May The Lord told me
for the first time about going to Greece. Our first project for Acts 29

Moment After a conference
at our church with Charles Capps and Pastor Scott Webb, God started to speak
about taking “Possession of our Ministry.” You are going into “Unchartered
Lands” but you will have everything you need in your “Heavenly Bank Account”,
all the people, resources and money in your Heavenly Bank Account. You just need to put a “draw” on the account.

2011 August scheduled a trip to
Costa Rica with Pastor Marlon for November

Moment The Baptist Church
in Glenwood has fully funded the mission trip to Costa Rica
2011 October started a missions fund
for the church with a 15,000 dollar commitment from the Deacons of the Church

Moment raised $5,000 for the
Costa Rica Trip $1,900 came in one offering
2011 November Kay rented the space for the
“Gathering Place”.
Spent
the next year fixing the Gathering Place and getting the vision for the
Gathering Place. God gave Kay, “you
write your own vision for the Gathering Place”.
2012 November After one year of renovations
to the Gathering Place we opened one year late. I left my job at the zoo and
back into full time ministry. First
meeting back in NC with Pastor Kent Coates.
2013 March The Gathering Place
has been opened 4months, we have 3 bible studies, regular groups of people
coming in for lunch and many coming in for healing and teaching. The latest was an award from the Chamber of
Commerce for one of the most improved business in Glenwood.

Moment Meeting all the new
customers who eventually became regulars at the Gathering Place.
2013 November Pastor Steve Shank called out
of the blue and wanted to know if I would help him with a project in Edinburg,
Scotland

Moment My first 30 second
reaction was “Go for it”
2014 February My first trip into City on
the Hill Church with Pastor Steve and met with the team to Scotland for three
days.

Moment Left the team to
make a decision on an exploratory trip & Pastor Steve and Charley met for
breakfast on the way out of town and Pastor Steve made a proposal for Kay and I
to come back once a month to develop the Churches ministries
2015
September Went to
Victory for the 1st time in September, looking for a ride to Canada
and stayed for my first teaching from Pastor Lonnie

Moment In the first sermon
Pastor Lonnie was preaching on “Preparing the way of the Lord”
2016 May Pastor Lonnie had
me teach the Wed night bible class

Moment Found my desire to
teach faith again didn’t realize how far I had slipped away from what I
believed.
2016
September Started the
Equipping the Saints class on Vision on Tuesday nights with Pastor Lonnie and I
teaching classes along with a video from Bethel ministries
2016 December began a series of the
Kingdom of God
Defining
Moment The revelation God
wanted to bring "Heaven to Earth" by developing a culture of the
fivefold ministries gifts bringing honor to each gift. We need all the gifts to bring "Heaven
to Earth". Heaven is a destination
but the Kingdom of God is resident in us through the power of the Holy
Spirit
2018 February Went back to Kenya with
Mike & Pat Heiser. Pastor Kent
Coates came along and gave me a great hand in teaching "The Mobilization
of God's Army, Kenyans winning
Kenyans".
Defining
Moment When I realized how
far Mike & Pat had come since 2008.
Went from One Church, One Bible School to 27 Bibles Schools, 26 Churches
and over 1000 Graduates from the schools we started in 2008. Making plans to go
back in January of 2019 with a leadership manual to teach to the directors and
graduates of Neema Bible Schools.
2018 November We had our 7th Birthday for
the Gathering Place and began a blog called the Modern Day Apostle. Connie and
Butch Hoge have become a great part of Acts 29 Ministries. Connie is doing the blog for me.
Defining
Moment How far we have come
in Glenwood and friends like Mike & Pat Heiser, Connie and Butch, Kent and
Sheila Coates and all of our regulars at the Gathering Place have become such a
big part of our lives. Connie encouraging
me to say what I have to say on the blog.
